Staff Picks: Best Dressed - Grammy Awards 2014Written by d'Italia
Our Top 10 favourites from the 2014 Grammy Awards! Who do you think wore the best dresses of the night?
Taylor Swift looked stunning in a shimmering Gucci gown. The dress had short sleeves and a sleek floor-length column silhouette, which clung to the singer's petite body. Swift's hair was up in a ponytail, a simple style which kept everyone's attention on the metallic gown. Model Chrissy Teigen also sparkled in a strapless design by Johanna Johnson - an Australian fashion label. The gown was covered in sequins and featured a deep v-cut neckline and mermaid train. There was also a slit in the skirt revealing Teigen's Casadei strappy shoes. The metallic theme continued as a pregnant Ciara dressed up her baby bump beautifully in a bronze Emilio Pucci design. The long sleeved gown featured intricate sequin patterns, a v-cut neckline and a small sweep train. Anna Kendrick looked glamorous in an Azzaro strapless gown, featuring some delicate beading. The skirt's split revealed the actress' Barbara Bui shoes, and the look was completed with a Rauwolf clutch. Beyoncé wore an incredible barely-there dress, with a perforated white leaf and flower design by Michael Costello. The designer described the dress as being inspired by the snow falling onto trees in New York, and imagined snow falling onto the fabric. Pink also wore Australian fashion label Johanna Johnson, selecting a strapless, red satin gown. The panelled dress fit her athletic body perfectly. Amber Rose chose a sexy Naeem Khan v-neck gown that featured a gold sequin pattern. Rose wore minimal make-up and jewellery, so all attention stayed on the striking design. Even Rose's usually heavily tattooed arms were covered with make-up. Australian born Iggy Azalea wore a gorgeous white Elie Saab floor-length gown. The embellished design looked almost angelic, with simple slicked back hair and a Jennifer Fisher cuff. Giuliana Rancic looked vibrant in this bright orange lace Alex Perry dress. The gown had a halter-style neckline and sheer netting and Rancic completed the tangerine look with a gold clutch and Marina B jewellery. Miranda Lambert wore a figure-hugging red Pamella Roland gown. The dress had a sexy plunging neckline, sheer shoulders and satin detail on the waist.
