MADE FROM SCRATCH, TO FIT YOU PERFECTLY.
Today the term "couture" is used loosely, but generations ago it only pertained to the best dressmakers on earth. At d'Italia, "couture" denotes fine and precision detail in dressmaking. Four of d'Italia's team of couturiers and seamstresses have spent many years attaining their statuses as couturiers. Their extensive experience in the art of couture render them highly sought after by discerning ladies who ultimately demand the creation of high-fashion designer-inspired garments. Our couturiers' attention to detail is intricate, as is their handwork and finishing techniques. True couturiers, such as those associated with d'Italia, are expert in the art of beading, embroidery and lace work, and in the construction of perfect bodices and invisible in-built corsetry - the mastery of which can only be had after many, many years of traditional training and experience. d'Italia's exclusive Italian designer fabric - including the finest French laces and beaded pieces - provide the perfect starting point for the creation of couture garments, where often the fabric itself is the inspiration point for the creation of couture masterpieces.
d'Italia does not charge for design or for the "label"—this is where you save hundreds or thousands of dollars.
