PRINCESS WEDDING DRESSES

When a bride has her heart set on a princess “puffy” style for her wedding gown, it is really tricky to find the right gown in the ready-made bridal boutiques – because exactly the right “puffiness” is often the hardest thing to find…! This is because the bride’s height and body shape determines exactly how “puffy” the gown should be.

In the process of custom-making a gown with one of d’Italia’s couturiers, there is no limit on the amount of fittings. This means that a gown can be created in an unlimited number of steps to allow for it to develop in stages – this way, the exact size of the skirt on the gown (ie. its “puffiness”) can be adjusted until it is exactly what the bride has her heart set on, and exactly the right volume to flatter her figure the most.

The creation of glamorous puffy styles directly from images or sketches – or even from a customer’s description – is simple for d’Italia’s elite team of bridal couturiers, as their level of expertise means that they can accurately duplicate any style with their own hand-crafted patterns.

This also means that brides can dictate what they would like to add or change about a style they have chosen. This is what d’Italia’s couturiers are renowned for – simply put: perfect gowns…

d’Italia will make the exact style wedding dress or mother of the bride/groom dress you want, with custom corsetry to fit you perfectly, using the best quality silks and genuine French laces.

Intricately designed and thoughtfully crafted from the finest fabrics. Our Ready to Wear collection offers a selection of beautiful gowns for the romantic bride at heart.

FAQ

A princess wedding dress is very similar to a ballgown in that it is designed to create an iconic, fairy tale look. Princess wedding dresses are usually constructed with a fitted bodice and flare out at the waist to create a full skirt. However, princess wedding dresses are usually fitted more closely to the body than ball gowns. They also often have less fabric in the skirt, so they are not as voluminous. When you want to look like a classic bride out of a fairy tale, a princess gown is the way to go.

A regular wedding dress is typically designed to be more figure-hugging, while a princess dress is meant to create a fuller silhouette. Princess wedding dresses also often have longer trains and more intricate details than a regular dress. If you’re looking to create a truly regal look, a princess wedding dress can help you look and feel feminine and gorgeous.

If you’re considering a princess wedding dress, it’s important to keep in mind that this style of dress can be quite heavy and cumbersome. Make sure you are comfortable walking and moving around in your dress before you commit to it. You may also want to consider having someone help you with your train or veil on the wedding day, as it can be difficult to manage everything yourself.
